I'm feeling really wretched physically. I've been shaky all day and my eyesight seems a little off. The swollen glands in my neck are killing me if I turn my head or move my head. I had a decent lunch at least. Windnight and I went to the Frontier and I had some green chili stew. Painful but needed. I'm so glad I have a doctor appointment in just over an hour. I feel like little more than curling up and dying. Also, I just had the joyous experiance of taking a test in this state and I failed it more horribly than anything before and added a plea on the end explaining my non-functional state. Hopefully I can get a doctor's note or something tonight. Ugh. This is one of the worst feelings I've had in a while. I serriously feel like I'm going to pass out.

Do you have a semi-lowgrade fever? 101 or so? How long's the sore throat been?

Sounds like Mono, when I had it. :/ I felt absolutely, amazingly shitty. At first I thought it was chilld & sore throat from a cold, but the sore throat only got worse.. I actually was in constant pain for about 3 weeks before it started to go away. I was popping about 900 mg of Ibuprofen every 4 hours, it was the only thing that lessened the swelling and made it hurt less docs had even prescribed Codeine to no avail.

Eeek! I'm glad I went to the doctor before I read this. I'd be worried even more! I've heared that mono is really evil and I would have died being out of commission for that long! I had a low grade fever on and off for a few days too...

Turns out its some random viral evil thing (still unknown) and he prescribed steroids to help kill it off faster. I'm already feeling a lot better after that and a nap.

Poor you! Evil Death Plague. I wish it would die. Hopefully they give you some meds that help. You cough, then your throat hurts, then you can't swallow, then you cough. Oh, it's a vicious cycle. Hopefully you kick it soon. It's one of those things that gets worse before it gets better. I suggest sleeping with a humdifier on all night, it'll help clear you up, and cough less.

Yeah, this is one f*&$ed up sickness. I DON'T approve.
I've been using a humidifier for nearly the last week- I can't imagine how much worse I'd be without it! I have some Vicks stuff made for adding to it also.

I know how you feel about failing a test. I failed my Psychology test and I was like "Noooo!" cause you know... don't like failing anything... but I guess that's how things go.

Yeah- it's an awful feeling, and so frustrating. I felt like I had studied all the wrong things!
I just have to remember what one of my more brilliant and infulential teachers told us to use as a motto- "Oh, hell, oh well, this too shall pass." As in, it may seem like the end of the world, but one test, one assignment, one screw up in life won't kill you!
