Work was evilhot. I nearly keeled over from the heat. By the end of the morning at the creek I had finished off my 2 liter water bag =/ Curse that fence!
We spent the afternoon coloring (productively).

This afternoon I helped Eddy get a gallery website started. So far so good. She'll pay me in art = yay.

I want to write a story out of a dream I had the other night- It's gonna have to be a SH fanfic (new characters/plot like the comics did) because all the mechanics were there in the dream. I don't have time right now though.

OH, I finished reading "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" this morning- I wanted to finally get around to the Narnia books before the movie comes out. Honestly? I was a bit jaded because I have read some of the author's other thoughs in a bathroom book about faith at the house of the pastor I used to housesit for. Most of it was on the slightly freaky side of religion (there is definately a "hey, that's cool, I can deal with that" side, and a "woah there buddy, you are FREAKING ME OUT" side, with a vast continuum in the middle and possibly other extremes). Summary? I really liked the story, even with the few slight religious pokes (easily ignored because they were used in an interesting manner), but I didn't like the way it was written. I have no problem reading children's literature and understanding that the writing style will be different because of that, but breaking the forth wall so often got on my nerves (comments such as "as you will remember from the last chapter" and "blah blah can't tell you about these monsters or your parents won't let you read this"). Not too distracting, but I would have prefered it without them. Anyway, I'll forge on to the next book after I pick it up from Amberlyn.

Mega boring entry. *nods*
