I'll break it down into three main bits:
Wow- Brittney's b-day bash was SUPER fun!! One of her rules was we either had to dress up super nice, in costume, or super goth so that we would have one very odd and confusing group. Well, only a handfull of us complied, but it was still cool- I went almost comically goth- pale face and everything. Strangely enough, I got a ton of compliments on it! O.o
We met first at Bennigan's for food- I splurged and, besides my meal, got: A Guinness, halfs on an appetizer tray, an Irish coffee, and halfs on Jeil's dessert. Oh happy day! Coversation was amazingly fun at dinner- I shared many a laugh, and enjoyed joking with Jessica who I hadn't talked to before really. Also, I got to see the original of my art trade with Kjorteo.
After dinner, we headed to the magic show! I was really excited. The show itself was... I dunno- it was FUN but it was almost painfully cheesy. I mean, I can deal with cheese. I often like it, and I'm willing to overlook it in many cases. However, I could see strings on the levitating feather and I could see a disappearing coin still stuck inside his sleeve. Others were worse. BUT, afterwards, we got to hang out in the magic shop and the owner demonstrated many of the products- That was AWESOME! I got used a the "victim" for a few of them, which made it even cooler. So many of those tricks got a gasp out of me. The owners were fun people too. I definately recommend hanging out at a magic shop at 10 PM, haahaa. I bought something too, but it'd be no fun if I told you what. *plots*
After that, Britt, Jeil, and I headed over to the Pulse to get a head start on drinking ourselves past the fear of dancing. However, I decided not to bother with that step next time. It was too expensive and I've gotten more confidance/ stopped caring what others think- so I just dance and have fun. They actually played "Wicked Game" as played by HIM! I recognized a few other songs too- "Closer" by NIN, of course, and I know I caught something by The Strand and a remix of a Cruxshadows song. That's the longest time I have spent dancing there- I'm so glad Brittney convinced us to keep at it- We didn't leave until around 1:30!!
Brittney did a great job organizing and planning the night- I'm glad I got to hang out with her beforehand and get ready at her place too. Kweh!
Well, my original plan was blatantly avoiding the party that Amy, Gourney, and Amberlyn threw- Not because of them, but because I figured I'd hide awkwardly in the corner with Brittney! So, after I took Jim to work, I hung out with her and went shopping. Well, we decided to go at some point- I knew I'd at least be there after Jim got off work. This decision further fueled my desire to purchase "the red thing", not to mention it jumping out in front of me at Hot Topic. "The red thing" is my first corset and I'm in love. As a side note, Brittney also got a gorgeous blue corset and she looked amazing in it despite her fear of blue! We malled and WalMarted and tried our hardest to find something else random and interesting to do as well that night, but ended up strolling into the party around 9 or so I think. Though, I decided that everyone goes insane on New Years Eve, I just had never gotten a chance to see it- I mean, we were dressed pretty normally and kept getting started at/having rude comments made at us and EVERYONE was driving like an ass.
There was much wonderful chicken/bread/cheese/booze to be had and I happily partook of all. Earlier, I had helped cut up fruit for the joy that is jungle juice and so I started on that. der_todesking. That was the first giant drunken party that I really had a good time during! I mean, a really good time! Also, Rexar and Redrum showed up too- I'm glad they did because they both had a blast too- and I love hanging out with Sara, and as I predicted she was adored too :D Even Rexar, who is NOT the social butterfly seemed to have fun talking to many of the people there. Rock! Oh, and I learned how to use a bong, haahaa.
Brittney was wonderful and stayed sober so she could drive me over to Jim's workplace at midnight. I pounce kissed him and hung out there while he and his co-worker closed up. They had had a crazy night there including being robbed- thankfully no one was hurt and little was lost.
The rest of the night got progressively more blurry, likely for all involved. No real hangover for me yet, thank goodness, but I did wake up still drunk a few times, haahaa. The last people didn't leave until around 4 AM and I myself didn't sleep until 5 or so (reserves chance to pick on a certain someone for taking up the entire futon) ;)

Bomb technicians from Kirtland Air Force Base have removed an old military bomb that was found Saturday morning along state Route 14, south of Tijeras...
That's 5 miles from my house. Luckily it was some retarded political protest (god only knows which side it was for/against but I can guess) and not a real fucking bomb. Still, that much black powder could have caused a decent mess. I'm glad that happened on a holiday already known for retarded stunts or else I'd worry about future displays. Then again, I'm still wondering how the hell someone got ahold of that bomb O.O
So much fun- Been lazy since. I spent the last few days chilling with Jim and watching the Star Wars DVD Trilogy. It's so freaking shiny. Ah, life is good. Oh, life is goood.
