Mmmmmmusic!

Hmm. So since I have been in a musicgeeky mode lately, I fired up good old Kazaalite tonight... only to discover it wouldn't connect for anything.
This gave me a perfect excuse to try out Ares - another P2P software thingy I was told about.
Verdict? MRRRRRRRR.

I have had some really good luck just downloading random stuff.
First I got a few different songs from The Cruxshadows- "Deception" and "Cruelty"-
Both QUITE delicious.
Then I got bored and just browsed by music style "gothic". Because, hey. Especially since things like Moonspell show up there.
Ended up with:
Bella Morte- "Fall No More" (very yum- downloading more by them now)
Katatonia- "A Darkness Coming" (Quite yummy too- not AS cool though)
Malice Mizer - "Baroque" (Wheee! Fur Elise on electric guitar with other stuff)
Illnath - "Never Again" (YES! New blackmetal band for me!)

Waiting on a few more random things to download.

Also, I downloaded a few songs by The Tea Party because I was informed I might like them. Only have "Heaven Coming Down" downloaded so far- I LIKE.

So, there's my music geekyness for now.
Today was good. That's about it.

OMGSOWPLZ!1!!

Wow. I just had an odd pseudo-nostalgic moment. I was telling someone about how much time I used to spend on Everquest. I remember nights of getting on at 10 and playing until 5 AM. I remember spending over 30 DAYS of in game time total on just one of my characters. I remember being a lvl 49 bard in PoH gear.
Kay, noone EVER get me started playing an MMORPG again.
Granted, I guess the magic has passed- FFXI, Horizons, and SWG all failed to pull me in and keep me. *laugh*
I only know one person who could get me hooked on one of those again, but I'm NOT gonna play CoH so I'm safe for now ;)
